Microtel T-20 is the solution for totally non-intrusive optical network tapping. It combines the advantages of passive tapping, which avoids any risk of introducing points of weakness in the system, with optimal features of robustness and flexibility.
T-20 operates at 100 Mbps and 1/10/25/40/100 Gb/s, using LC connectors. The high density chassis hosts up to 24 singlemode and/or multimode TAP modules, each one tapping one single optical link. T-20 allows to passively monitor full duplex fiber optic links for a combination of multimode and singlemode fibers: OM1, OM3, OS1, OS2 fibers are supported. Several split ratios are available: 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, 80/20, 90/10.
Aluminium rack ensures a robust and reliable solution from a mechanical point of view, while strong ergonomic design and a smart locking system guarantee easy insertion and removal of each single module. T-20 can also be used as optical splitter for SDH-SONET links.
